More than 70 educators make up our full-time, Pre-Kindergarten – 8th-grade faculty, a diverse team of professionals who love what they do. Our faculty members work in close collaboration with one another, constantly seeking new ways to integrate curricula and strengthen their students’ experiences. They are supported through ongoing, high-quality professional development and a collegial atmosphere of commitment to best practices and innovation.

Our support staff also plays a significant role in the success of St. Mary’s School. Our administrative assistants, facilities team, After School Care staff, and on-site security officers work closely with our Administration and faculty to provide a welcoming and happy atmosphere for all of our students.

  • Student-to-teacher ratio ranges from 8:1 to 24:1, depending on grade level and subject matter. Overall student-to-teacher ratio is 16:1.

Teaching Positions

Successful candidates will understand and model St. Mary’s mission statement: Learn – Love – Lead – Inspiring curiosity, kindness, and dignity in a caring Christian community. In addition, teachers will have a strong ability to work and communicate well with students as well as their parents, embrace the St. Mary’s Episcopal Day School culture educational model, and collaborate with fellow faculty members, and serve as contributing members of the school community. St. Mary's teachers must be comfortable using and learning new or best-practice technology to present information or to expand on a lesson taught in class, online, or in another modality.

 

Elementary and Middle School Substitute Teachers

Qualifications: Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills, and be highly responsible. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
