SAINTS FUND
be a saint
donate to the SAINTS FUND
St. Mary's is able to put our Learn~Love~Lead motto into action each school year via tuition dollars and money raised through the Saints Fund, our most important appeal. We're blessed to be a sound financial institution thanks to the hard work of our Administration and Board of Trustees. In addition to support from the Parents' Association, the school relies on donations from the Saints Fund to assist with projects not otherwise covered under the operating budget. You can help by making a gift to this important fund, participating in capital campaigns, or choosing to leave a legacy gift. All gifts, no matter the size, are important to our community and truly make a difference. Donors are provided with a Family of Funds approach to designate their gift to an area that inspires them.

The Why Behind The Donation
Be part of the magic. With every donation, lives are changed.
past campaigns
a history of giving
During the 2023-2024 school year, nearly $400,000 was raised thanks to our generous donors. These gifts led to necessary physical upgrades on campus over the summer in addition to enhancements to our wellness and athletic programming. Contributions also aided in the growth of our St. Mary’s Endowment and financial aid offerings.
Past campaigns have brought about many meaningful changes to campus, including:
- The addition of Pre-AP courses and a National Junior Honor Society at the middle school level
- Enhancing campus-wide science equipment used to cultivate critical thinking skills
- Installation of turf in the courtyard on campus
- The creation of a new St. Mary's Art Studio and an additional music classroom
- Creation of a Middle School STEM lab and 8th grade lounge
- A refresh of the Lower and Primary Science and Spanish rooms
- Sun shades to expand outdoor classroom capabilities
- Other intangible enhancements focused on the student experience: daily extra-help sessions at all grade levels, advisory opportunities, schedule consultants, and emotional support
supporting st. mary's
For as long as the campaign has existed, St. Mary’s has celebrated 100% participation from the faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees, and aims for 100% parent participation each spring. We are truly thankful for each and every donation from our parents, faculty, staff, Trustees, grandparents, past parents, alumni and friends alike.

(MASTER) PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
The 2023-2024 contributions went toward specific enhancements found to be necessary after undergoing an intensive Campus Master Planning process currently underway. Here are the important things to know.
1. The campus master plan process is designed to address the needs of our entire community – Church and School – with a focus on all four buildings on campus and the recent land acquisition at 4218 W San Rafael. The goal of this process is to assess, analyze, better understand, and dream as it relates to our campus buildings, structures, layouts, and
grounds both now and into the future.
2. In early 2023, the St. Mary’s Board of Trustees approved an RFP (request for proposal) process for the School to interview firms for a campus master planning (CMP) exercise. The School solicited proposals from reputable architectural firms throughout the region and assembled a committee of Church and School leaders who interviewed finalist candidates in April 2023. This committee’s work and feedback led to the recommendation that the Church/School partner with and outside architectural firm on this CMP process.
3. The “Big 5” questions for stakeholders will include: What do stakeholders like best, like least, must keep, must toss and what do they dream about?
4. The last school-related campus master plan occurred at St. Mary’s in the late 1990s
5. The CMP process will be led by a Steering Committee composed of various Church and School leaders and volunteers. Both the Church Vestry and School Board of Trustees will provide strategic oversight of the exercise.
6. The CMP process consists of three phases: (1) Data Collection, (2) Vision, Research, and Development, and (3) Consensus, Final Concepts, and Implementation.
7. The last school-related campus master plan occurred at St. Mary’s in the late 1990s
8. We are simultaneously exploring work related to developing campus design standards and a vision for interior design enhancements on campus.
9. A key element of CMP includes conducting an updated site assessment and facilities audit. We need to understand our current footprint before we explore possibilities of updating or expanding.
