Gathering and Worshiping for more than 75 years
St. Mary's Episcopal Church was established in 1946 and has been located at our current home on San Miguel Street in South Tampa since 1953.The current church building was constructed in 2002 with the parish hall, St. Mary's Hall, being built in 2006. These facilities continue to serve well as our gathering place for worship and fellowship.
St. Mary’s boasts an active and diverse congregation, which is a product of a church community that welcomes all and serves all. From our young families experiencing fun, educational Sunday School classes and an engaging youth program for our high school and middle school members to Christian Education programs for adults and an active Senior ministry that regularly meets for luncheons and fellowship, Saint Mary’s purpose is clear:
To Know Christ and Make Him Known.

Spiritual life at St. mary's episcopal day school
Spiritual life is a cornerstone of a St. Mary's education. We nurture a sense of curiosity, kindness, and dignity in every student through chapel services, religious studies, and service learning projects. We embrace the diversity of beliefs and traditions and foster a deep understanding and respect for others. Here, students learn not only to develop their own spiritual identity but also to appreciate the rich tapestry of faiths that make up our global community.
